Virtual workshops for adults

We are all familiar with the changes that accompany aging: slowing down physically, changes in health, Are you or a loved one noticing changes in your thinking skills such as forgetting details of recent conversations, getting distracted easily, or difficulty with tackling routine challenges? Some individuals experience these changes as they get older; others experience them due to head injuries, stroke, or other neurologic conditions. These cognitive changes don’t necessarily predict a grim future! Each of us holds the key to shape the health of our brains and learn new strategies to compensate for cognitive weaknesses. 

We offer two virtual workshops focused on learning skills to overcome cognitive weaknesses. “Supercharge Your Brain” is a group workshop offered for adults over the age of 60. We also offer an individualized workshop targeting cognitive skills in adults of all ages. These workshops will be led by Dr. Kamat, a board-certified neuropsychologist who has extensive experience researching, evaluating, and treating cognitive impairments in adults with dementia, stroke, and other neurologic conditions.

Supercharge Your Brain: A group workshop for adults over the age of 60 

In this workshop, we will discuss science-based methods to improve memory and maximize cognitive efficiency. We will also cover important lifestyle changes that have been shown to optimize brain health. Come learn how each of us can maximize our cognitive, physical, and mental well-being as we age.

Individualized Cognitive Skills training workshop for adults 

In this workshop, we will first discuss your specific concerns and collaborate on developing a plan to learn and implement targeted skills to improve your cognitive weaknesses. Over the course of three sessions, we will utilize science-based methods to maximize cognitive efficiency. We will also review strategies to promote and maintain cognitive, physical, and mental well-being.
