I am a doctoral-level licensed Psychology Associate in Maryland. I have worked in children’s hospitals and community mental health centers. I work with children, teens, and adults navigating a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, life transitions, and coping with chronic illnesses. Through a neurodiversity-affirming lens, I strive to help individuals gain clarity, recognize their strengths, and move forward with confidence and purpose. I value creating a warm, supportive space where people feel safe to explore their inner experiences and take steps toward meaningful growth. When working with families, I incorporate behavior management and parent coaching to strengthen relationships and promote healthier communication. My approach is grounded in empathy, cultural responsiveness, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story. I am here to walk alongside you in the journey toward healing and resilience.
Professional Experience
I earned my Bachelors of Science (BS) degree in Psychology with a minor in Child Development from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida and my Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree in Clinical Psychology at Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia, with a strong foundation in pediatric and health psychology. I completed my doctoral internship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where I provided outpatient therapy and consultation/liaison services to medically complex youth across a range of interdisciplinary clinics, including pain management, sleep disorders, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), ehlers-danlos syndrome (EDS), diabetes, concussions, and more. My clinical training includes providing evidence-based therapy and evaluations for children, adolescents, and families in outpatient, inpatient, and rehabilitation settings, with particular training in adjustment and coping with medical conditions.
Life Outside the Office
I grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and now live in Baltimore City. I enjoy sharing quality time with good friends and family, being out in nature, cooking and hosting meals for loved ones, dancing, yoga, and meditation. I try to incorporate humor into everything I do – its more fun that way!
