Waypoint has several group options for school aged youth to adults. They are focused on teaching skills to help empower participants to function better in their lives.
Groups run for 6-8 weeks and are held after-school, in-person, in either our Annapolis or Severna Park offices.
These groups are not billed to insurance. They are billed as a package and cost approximately $50-75 per group depending on the experience/degree of the group facilitator.

The Connections Workshop
The Connections Workshop is designed for young adults who experience difficulties with peer relationships, social confidence, and meaningful interpersonal connections. Many participants struggle with initiating conversations, maintaining friendships, navigating social anxiety, interpreting social cues, managing conflict, or developing a sense of belonging within their peer groups. Through guided discussion, experiential activities, and supportive peer interaction, participants will increase self-awareness, strengthen communication skills, build social confidence, and develop healthier relationship patterns. The workshop provides a safe and supportive environment to practice interpersonal skills, process social challenges, explore barriers to connection, and foster authentic relationships. Participants will learn evidence-based strategies to improve social functioning, increase emotional regulation in social situations, and enhance their ability to create and maintain fulfilling peer relationships.
