I am a licensed Psychology Associate practicing under the supervision of Dr. Tana Clarke. I am currently a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Stevenson University, where I continue to deepen my clinical skills and research expertise. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Christopher Newport University. My therapeutic orientation is integrative and evidence-based, allowing me to tailor treatment to meet the unique needs of each client. I draw from various modalities while maintaining a strong foundation in research-supported practices. Cultural sensitivity is a core value in my work. I prioritize creating a space where clients of all backgrounds feel seen, heard, and respected. My approach emphasizes collaboration, flexibility, and a deep respect for each individual’s lived experience.
Professional Experience
I bring a breadth of clinical experience to my practice. I began my career as an Assistant Behavior Specialist in an inpatient setting, where I worked closely with adolescents and children managing a wide range of psychological diagnoses and behavioral presentations. This role provided invaluable exposure to crisis intervention and long-term treatment planning in a highly structured environment.
My research focuses on moral injury within the juvenile justice system, specifically how institutions impact mental health in young people. Additionally, I have published peer-reviewed research on relational memory from my undergraduate career.
Life Outside of Practice
When not in practice or attending school, you’ll often find me outdoors, running obstacle races, walking my dog, or exploring new restaurants in the area. I value maintaining balance and enjoy staying active and spending time with friends as a means of self-care.
Logan starts her psychology externship at Waypoint in August of 2025. She works in the Linthicum location and she also provides telehealth services. She will be credentialed with Carefirst insurance.
