I am a Licensed MD Psychology Associate and doctoral intern working under the supervision of Drs. Suzanne Linkroum and Nadia Maghsadi. I am passionate about helping children, adolescents, adults, and families navigate life’s challenges while recognizing their strengths and capacity for growth. My clinical work is grounded in culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and evidence-based care with an emphasis on authenticity, connection, and creating a safe therapeutic space where individuals feel seen, heard, and empowered.
Throughout my professional journey, I have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients across school, community, hospital, and outpatient settings. My experience includes supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, behavioral concerns, life transitions, stress-related difficulties, and challenges related to identity, relationships, and emotional wellness. I value the therapeutic relationship deeply and approach care with compassion, collaboration, and a strength-based perspective.
Professional Experience
My professional experiences span school-based mental health, community programming, crisis stabilization, psychological assessment, and psychotherapy services with children, adolescents, and adults. I have provided individual and group therapy utilizing approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and person-centered interventions. I am particularly passionate about serving underserved and culturally diverse communities while helping individuals build resilience, confidence, emotional insight, and healthy relationships.
In addition to clinical work, I have experience developing innovative community and wellness initiatives, mentoring youth, collaborating with educators and families, and creating programs that promote emotional wellness, leadership, and empowerment. My work is rooted in the belief that healing and transformation happen best in environments where people feel supported, valued, and connected.
Life Outside the Office
Outside of my professional work, I enjoy traveling, journaling, learning new languages, and creating meaningful experiences and resources for the community. I also enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, exploring new ideas, and engaging in creative projects that inspire growth, connection, and joy. I value spaces that encourage authenticity, laughter, learning, and restoration, and I strive to bring those same qualities into both my personal and professional life.
