Sieanna Holstein

MA, 2026-27 Doctoral ExternEmail »sholstein@waypointwellnesscenter.com

I am a Licensed Psychology Associate in Maryland and a doctoral extern under the supervision of Dr. Leibovitz dedicated to supporting individuals as they navigate their mental health journey. Healing begins in spaces where people feel safe enough to be seen, heard, and understood without judgment. I believe therapy is a collaborative process rooted in safety, trust, and curiosity.

My clinical interests include providing therapy to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and relational concerns. I have a particular interest in working with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, emotion regulation difficulties, and challenges within peer, family, and romantic relationships.

I also have a strong clinical interest in working with autistic individuals across the lifespan. I provide neurodiversity-affirming support focused on social understanding and relationship skills, emotional regulation, self-advocacy, identity development, executive functioning, anxiety, masking and burnout, sensory differences, and navigating school, work, and interpersonal relationships.

Professional Experience

I have received training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and I integrate psychodynamic, person-centered, and evidence-based approaches to meet each client’s unique needs.

I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Towson University and my master’s degree in Psychology from Stevenson University, where I am currently completing my fourth year in the Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) program. My clinical training has included practicum experiences in both private practice and hospital settings. Prior to graduate training, I worked in roles supporting neurodivergent children and adults in clinical, educational, and community-based settings. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the unique strengths, perspectives, and challenges of individuals from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of presenting concerns.

Life outside the office

In my free time, I enjoy going to the dog park with my husky, traveling, and going to amusement parks!

Sieanna works in our Severna Park and Linthicum locations and also sees patients via telehealth. She is credentialed with Carefirst BCBS. Her doctoral externship runs from September 1, 2026 through May 15, 2027.
