I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LCPC) in MD and doctoral extern under the supervision of Dr. Suzanne Linkroum with a passion for helping individuals navigate life’s challenges while recognizing their strengths and potential for growth. I strive to create a supportive and collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel seen, heard, and understood. My approach is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and cultural responsiveness. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship can foster insight, build resilience, and support meaningful, lasting change.
My clinical approach incorporates evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I help clients explore the connections between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing healthier coping strategies, increasing self-awareness, and identifying personal values that guide growth and decision-making. My clinical interests include anxiety, depression, stress management, anger management, self-esteem concerns, PTSD, ADHD, emotional regulation, and life transitions. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults as they navigate important developmental stages and personal challenges.
Professional Experience
My clinical experience includes providing therapeutic support to diverse populations across a variety of settings. I have worked in outpatient mental health settings and have provided supportive services to incarcerated individuals, including mental health support, reentry planning, and connections to community resources. Through my clinical training and professional experience, I have supported individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, emotional regulation difficulties, PTSD, ADHD and adjustment-related concerns.
My background in case management has strengthened my ability to meet clients where they are and provide individualized, compassionate, and culturally responsive care. I am committed to helping clients recognize their strengths, develop effective coping skills, and take meaningful steps toward achieving their goals and enhancing their overall well-being.
Life Outside the Office
In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, cooking, spending time outdoors, and creating meaningful memories with family and friends. I value maintaining a healthy work-life balance, and these activities help me stay grounded, centered, and fully engaged in both my personal and professional life.
